Draft. This document describes what ConvoScript actually does, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the highlighted values have to be filled in. Both are required before ConvoScript charges anyone.
ConvoScript
Terms of Service
Version 2026-08-14. Effective on publication.
1. Who this agreement is with
ConvoScript is operated by operator legal entity, of registered address ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create one.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract where you live.
2. What ConvoScript does
ConvoScript listens to a live interview through your microphone and the audio of a browser tab you choose to share, transcribes both as they happen, and suggests answers drawn from the resume and job context you provide. It keeps a history of the interviews you have run and, on some plans, a transcript and a written review.
ConvoScript is a preparation and support tool. It does not sit an interview for you, it does not verify anything you tell it, and it has no relationship with any employer or interviewer.
3. Recording, and whose job consent is
Using ConvoScript means capturing another person's voice. In some places - California and much of the EU among them - that requires the permission of everyone on the call, and getting it is your responsibility, not ours. ConvoScript shows you a notice before every interview and records that you accepted it.
You agree that you will not use ConvoScript to capture a conversation you do not have permission to capture, and that you, not us, answer for it if you do. We may end an account we believe is being used this way.
ConvoScript does not record audio, and it does transmit it. While an interview is running, your microphone and the shared tab are streamed live to our speech-to-text provider, which returns the words and is told not to keep them. The audio itself is never written down, by them or by us. What is kept, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
4. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can see every signed-in device, sign any of them out, and reset your password from Profile › Security.
One account is for one person. Do not share it, resell access to it, or use it on behalf of someone else.
5. What you must not do
- Record anyone without the permission your jurisdiction requires.
- Impersonate someone else, or use ConvoScript to help another person do so.
- Upload a resume, job description, or document that is not yours to use.
- Try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or work around plan limits, rate limits, or account verification.
- Use ConvoScript where doing so breaks a rule you are already bound by - an employer's policy, an exam condition, or an assessment platform's terms.
6. What ConvoScript produces, and what it is worth
Answers and reviews are generated by a language model. They can be wrong, out of date, or confidently invented, and they are drafted from what you gave us - if your resume overstates something, so will ConvoScript.
Everything you say in an interview is yours. You decide what to say and you are responsible for its accuracy. ConvoScript offers no view on whether an answer is true, and never assesses how an interview went - the outcome recorded in your history is the one you enter yourself.
We do not promise that ConvoScript will get you an interview, a next round, or a job.
7. Plans and payment
Plan allowances - how many interviews, how long each one runs, which answer styles, how long transcripts are kept - are shown on the subscription page and enforced by the service.
The free interview is one per verified email address, for the life of that address. It does not renew monthly or annually. It is used only when a live interview actually starts, so a failed connection or a cancelled setup costs you nothing. Once used, it does not come back: not by deleting the interview, not by changing plan, not by cancelling, and not by deleting the account and registering the same address again.
It is one per address, not one per person, and we do not try to work out whether two addresses belong to the same person. If you delete an account that never used its free interview, that address stays eligible.
What you buy is what you get, and it does not change afterwards. An interview runs with the length, answer styles, and content retention of the entitlement it uses - a purchased interview credit is a 90-minute interview with every answer style whatever plan you are on. Those terms are fixed when the interview starts. Upgrading later does not unlock an older interview that was never kept, and downgrading or cancelling later does not shorten a retention window you were already promised. Subscribing does not use up or forfeit a free interview you have not used.
Nothing is charged today. Upgrades and interview credits currently change your plan without taking payment, because no payment processor is connected yet. When one is, this section will say who processes payments, how renewals and cancellation work, and what the refund position is - and you will be asked to agree to it before any money moves.
When payments do exist, card details will go to the payment processor and never to ConvoScript. We will keep the record of each transaction - amount, tax, date, product, and the outcome of any refund or dispute - for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and those records survive account deletion with the link to your account removed. A refund or dispute that arrives after an account is deleted is processed against that record and never restores the account, its access, or its content.
8. Availability
ConvoScript depends on services we do not run - speech-to-text, a language model provider, and email - and on your own network and browser. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or fast at the moment you need it, and we recommend you never let an interview depend on it working.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you notice and time to export what is yours.
9. Ending it
You can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account, at any time from Profile › Security. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: your resumes and their files, interviews, transcripts, detected questions, suggested answers, and reviews are erased, and any file we cannot remove at that moment is queued and retried until it is gone. See the Privacy Policy for the short list of content-free records that are kept, and why.
Deleting an account does not refund interview credits you have not redeemed, and does not cancel a subscription held with a payment provider - cancel that first if you have one.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless we are not allowed to.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, ConvoScript is provided as it is, without warranties, and we are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings, or indirect loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top change when we do, and we will tell you by email before a change that materially affects you takes effect. Continuing to use ConvoScript after that means you accept the new version.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of jurisdiction, and jurisdiction's courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
